Cultural Pride

At JIS, our school community (students, teachers, and families alike )  take profound pride in Jordan’s vibrant cultural heritage. We integrate the beauty of Arabic calligraphy, traditional music, and storytelling into our daily life, celebrating both tangible landmarks like Petra, Jerash, and Wadi Rum, and intangible traditions such as Bedouin craftsmanship, folk dances, and communal rituals. Through engaging field trips, art projects inspired by ancient mosaics, and student-led cultural festivals, we foster a deep sense of identity, belonging, and respect for our shared past. This rootedness not only binds us to our land and history but also empowers our students to confidently step into the world as proud ambassadors of Jordanian culture and to embrace their role as proud Jordanian citizens in a diverse global society.
